What Can Aloe Vera Heal?

Aloe vera has a good reputation for putting kibosh on painful skin, burning the sun with cooling and taking heat from burning, and enabling it to begin the healing process. But what else can the slimy gel do? So much actually; There is a reason aloe is called "magic plant." Its gel can cure burns, cuts, bites and more, and is a great addition to organic beauty products. These are just some of the ways you can put these healing gel bottles to good use.

Burns

You know that aloe vera tastes great when you need to cure sunburn after spending too many hours outside, but it also works on small heat burns. If you accidentally touch your hand against the burner or estimate the distance between your iron and your face, you can use a little topical gel to soothe the wound. Gel helps to reduce damage to the skin by protecting it and promoting healing.

Cuts and Scrapes

If you have small cuts or scraped skin, you can speed up the healing process by using aloe hydrating gel. Wait for the wound to stop bleeding and dry skin (which may take 12 or 24 hours), and then clean the skin. Apply a small amount of aloe, and let it absorb.

Level

Some deep wounds are more likely to be scarred than small ones, but you can help heal the skin so the scars won't notice - or they may not form at all. Scars are skin cells that are produced faster than normal and are therefore made up of different tissues. Aloe helps bind the joint together for faster healing so this tissue can be avoided. Be aware that the tongue cannot be applied directly to the fresh and deep wounds; wait about 24 hours to make sure the pieces are dry before applying. If the wound requires stitches, do not use a crocodile tongue.

Stings and Bites

Unlike scars, you can apply aloe verbal healing gel directly to insect bites and itching as soon as it occurs to reduce stinging pain. No matter the type of bug or bee, you will feel immediate relief.

Acne

If you have adult acne, one way to cure acne is to add aloe vera to your skin care routine. You can gel into existing defects to help them heal. You can also use the miracle plant on old acne scars, and after months of use, you may notice a reduction in their appearance.

Aloe vera is great for the skin; it keeps the skin hydrated without disturbing the skin's moisture and soothes painful skin ailments. Your skin will heal and so on in a short time.
