What is the Meaning of Moles on the Face?

The colored strips in the foreground can be mole or possibly something worse. Determining exactly what place should require examination by a qualified doctor and possibly a biopsy of the lesion. This article aims to explain the different lesions that may appear on the face, not to diagnose any lesions.

What does mole mean in the first place?

Some places have been around since birth and are not a threat. This place is called congenital nevi and has no cancer potential. They can grow throughout life but they do not turn off. Unfortunately, some spots on the face represent skin cancer, the most deadly of which is melanoma. To determine if a mole is a concern for melanoma, several basic guidelines have been established to help determine whether further diagnosis or treatment is needed. It has ABCDE pneumonia.

  • Assymetry - unbalanced mole on both sides, in other words not a mirror image from one side to the other, is alarming.

  • Borders - if the mole has an irregular border, this can be a worrying sign

  • Color - if the mole has many colors in it. Black butter is not always bad. If the mole has black, brown, white, and different colors in it, it can be alarming.

  • Diameter - alarming is a mole larger than 6mm in diameter.

  • Rise / Evolution - Larger mites or different heights above skin level should be evaluated.

Although this rule can be used for melanoma, other types of skin cancers can often be seen as mole. The two most common types of skin cancers are basal cell cancer and squamous cell cancer. The biggest risk factor for any of these is exposure to ultraviolet radiation - either from the sun or tanning. There are many other risk factors that fall outside the scope of this article. If the mole changes in size, color, or shape; incredible growth appears on the skin; you notice the color change on your skin; or if you have a disease that will not cure, evaluation by a trained doctor with the possibility of a biopsy may be necessary.

Want to know how to get rid of mole?

The removal of the mole depends on what they have. Fortunately, not all moths are cancerous. For non-cancerous mites, conservative measures can be used to eliminate bad mites for cosmetic reasons. Shaving the skin, mowing the mole, freezing the mole, and topical medications can be used to get rid of the mole. If the diagnosis of the mole is appropriate, any biopsy should be sent for a pathological examination. For cancer-proven lesions, more aggressive treatment is needed. In some cases, radiation therapy and / or chemotherapy may be necessary alongside surgery to provide the best chance of healing.

If you have questions about the meaning of the mole in the face or anywhere in the body, you should consult an experienced doctor. It may be necessary to visit a dermatologist and also undergo a mole biopsy to determine exactly what it is. The key to living is early diagnosis.
