4 Major Causes of Acne Explained Simply

Okay, roll drum.
There are millions of places online and offline that can find information on the causes of acne. I will not dispute any information you find elsewhere, but here today I will summarize some of the reasons and present it to you.
Here they are:
1) Genetics
There are often strong genetic links in the family about the cause of acne. More often than not, if one family member has acne, the next generation is more likely to become ill. Genetics also determines the beginning and end ages of individual acne.
However, as much as genetic factors have a role to play in acne, it is still not fully understood.
2) Hormones
Hormones, especially androgens, are almost certainly the cause of acne. One of the main causes of acne is the sebaceous gland stimulation by testosterone androgen and dehydrotestorone (produced in both men and women) during puberty. The proportionality of hormone differentiation in puberty often makes acne difficult to treat, and this is often the reason why treatments need to differ between individuals.
3) Pressure
Stress is also a cause of acne, for two reasons, physiologically and psychologically. First, physical stress stimulates the adrenal glands to produce more hormones, especially androgens, resulting in more acne, as described above. And psychological stress slows down the healing process of the immune system by up to 40 percent, drastically reducing the skin's ability to heal.
4) Smoking
Smoking is widely known to cause lung or mouth cancer, heart attack, stroke, diabetes and emphysema. But the correlation between smoking and acne is unknown. For one, nicotine reduces the supply of oxygen needed by the skin to produce new cells, resulting in pores and spots.
This is because nicotine blocks the blood vessels. It also causes a reduction in blood supply to the skin and inhibits its ability to produce collagen and elastin, which makes the skin smoother and smoother. So not only do smokers have a greater tendency to acne, their skin is also faster.
